FINALLY TIME FOR SUMMER

It is SOOO nice to be done with school for...well a week. ha ha Jared and I are both going to summer school but we do get a week off and we are definitely going to st george this weekend with our really good friends Chels and Nash!! we'll definitley be posting pictures after this trip!!

OH, and sweet jared signed us up for a 5k next weekend so we have been running getting ready. Yeah, it is not very far yet but my goal is to eventually run a marathon so this is a start. Yesterday we decided to take a break from running and rode our bikes to jareds parents and back. the trip was probably 6 or 7 miles and my butt is killing me!!!

Just an Update

Jared is working on finishing his associates degree and is working at beeline. They have been really good to him there and let him leave early to get to school. He does night school and usually does not return home until around 8:00. We both play on a coed indoor soccer team so that we can get our exercise in. Oh and Jared has officially started his diet...again.
I am currently finishing up school i have been accepted into the elementary education program up at Weber State. I am working at America First as of right now and they have worked so well with me and my chaotic school schedule.

We are finally in our last couple weeks of school and cannot wait for our vacation to California this summer!

lava hot springs

So this weekend we were so sick of school and work that we decided we were going to head to lava hot springs with Trevor and his girlfriend and it was so much fun!! we drove the 2 hours down there, soaked in the hot pools for an hour got an ice cream cone and then drove the 2 hours back home...was it stupid...probably but definitely well worth it and we really had a ball. i had never been to the hot pools and i would recommend them to everybody!! just don't sit too close to those awkward old men with saggy swimming suits!! ha ha

THE BIG ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!

Jared and I just celebrated our first anniversary which could not have been more perfect. Well i guess in one way it could have. I started off the day working :(. I worked until 4 in the afternoon but after that we were off to celebrate! Jared started the date off by taking me to macaroni grill which is my most favorite place to eat. We then started driving back home and i was not quite sure what to expect. But to my surprise he got off the freeway in layton and pulled into the marriot hotel in layton where we spent our first night together!! I was already so impressed and if our date would have stopped then it would have been perfect. But he of course continued to amaze me.
When we got there he walked straight to the room (which was the same one we stayed in before) After opening the door i was greated with the most beautiful flowers i have ever seen!! he also called the lady who made our cake and she made a small look alike cake for us to eat!!! it was so perfect!! he bought all sorts of lotions and also bubbles for the tub (which i poured to much and pretty much flooded the room with bubbles...whoops) all in all it was the best date I have ever had!!! I LOVE YOU JARED!!

Valentines day

Once again jared and I spend our Valentines day together in Mesquite. My valentines day actually started on friday when a beautiful boquet of daisey's were delivered to my work by the cutest deliverer's ever!! (my neice's and nephews). We leave right after work and take on the 6 hour drive. The time did fly by though. Jared and I spent valentines day out by a pool soaking up the sun. After we had a big barbecue with my family and a bunch of friends. What was the best part of my valentines day? just spending time with my adorable husband. Though it does not sound like we did much, it was so so so nice to get to spend the entire day together, we do not get to do that as often as i would like and their is no better present than that.

Alright, so jared started this blog eight months ago and has not touched it since so my goal is to take it over and start being a regular so everybody can keep up with the buckley clan. Keep in mind that i am new to this whole blogging thing and it may (will) take me quite awhile to get use to it.
