starting the summer off right

This summer Jared and I have decided we are going to start posting all of the fun things that we do. So, to start the summer off right Jared is playing in a Softball league. He is playing with our really close friends and my brother. It is so fun to go every week with their wives and watch the games. We are looking into making shirts to support our husbands. (maybe we have not talked about that one yet haha) I am playing in three soccer leagues and a softball league. But the funnest thing this summer so far would be the DIRTY DASH!! my sister in law called me two days before the race and asked me and my brothers wife if we wanted to run the race with her. Of course we were game! The race was a 5k but it was unlike any race I had ran before. We were running through mud. There were obstacles that we had to run over, through and under! We had to jump over hay bails, run through tunnels, jump over walls, climb under nets and more than anything run through waist high mud!! The race was a blast and we all finished together. there is a 10k in September that we are thinking about participating in... maybe.

I cannot believe it has almost been two years, time flies when you are with your best friend. We will have been officially married for two years on March 6th!


I was able to recently open up my time capsule from elementary, everybody at my house was laughing because though i do not remember doing this, i made a tape of me talking/singing and put it in the capsule. once i turned it on everybody was laughing at me... I also wrote a letter to myself asking "Are you married yet?" "If so i am sure he is super hot since i have good taste". Yeah this was way funny...


Baby Gracie was Born!!! and even though i would take her in a heartbeat as my own, She is my new little niece who is just darling!


Jared and I had a family halloween party to go to and had no idea what to be so no joke, we came up with these costumes after a 3 minute trip to wal-mart 10 minutes before the party, thank goodness for a creative husband, he took it a little too serious as you can see above...maybe we both did, it was so much fun


Well that is just a short catch up of the last few months, hopefully i will be a better blogger now that i know how to upload photos on my new computer
